Niko is a Ph.D. student at the University of Helsinki in the Political, Societal, and Regional Change doctoral program. Niko's research focuses on consumers’ and farmers’ perceptions of cellular agriculture in future food systems.

Niko is also a design professional with a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree focused in Creative Sustainability from Aalto University School of Arts, Design, and Architecture
